What you’ll be doing
- Putting together steel components with hand tools and shop equipment
- Following clear work instructions and standard procedures
- Checking your work for accuracy and quality
- Moving parts and materials safely around the shop
- Helping different departments when production spikes or priorities shift
- Using assigned tools and equipment safely
- Keeping your area organized and hazard-free
- Communicating with supervisors and teammates to stay aligned
- Tackling additional shop tasks as requested
Are you the right fit?
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred (not required)
- Comfort using hand tools; familiar with common shop equipment
- Solid hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Dependable, on time, and a clear communicator
- Positive outlook and willingness to learn new tasks
- Works well solo and on a team
- Enjoys variety—able to move between tasks and departments
- Willing to work overtime when needed
The setting
- Fast-paced manufacturing shop
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, carrying, and repetitive movements
- Regular interaction with steel parts, tools, and equipment
- Lift and handle up to 50 lbs safely
- PPE required as specified
- Overtime may be required to meet production goals
