    Job Title: Fabrication Manager
    Location: Deerpark, Texas


    Position Summary
    The Fabrication Manager is responsible for overseeing manufacturing and assembly operations within a fabrication shop or production facility. This role provides leadership, technical oversight, and strategic direction to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and supervise the fabrication team to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met

    • Plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing processes to meet production deadlines and budget requirements

    • Develop and maintain production schedules and workflows

    • Monitor production metrics and implement data-driven improvements to enhance efficiency

    • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications

    • Support the development of fixtures and fabrication techniques

    • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and optimization of fabrication equipment

    • Maintain product quality through inspections and quality control processes

    • Enforce safety policies, procedures, and training programs

    • Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, production, shipping, and sales teams

    • Partner with design teams to ensure product manufacturability

    • Optimize resource allocation and manage departmental budgets

    • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity

    • Research and introduce new fabrication technologies and best practices

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

    • 2+ years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or production leadership

    • Strong knowledge of fabrication processes such as welding, machining, and assembly

    • Experience with production planning, scheduling, and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred)

    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

    • Responsible for hiring, training, performance management, and employee development
