Goldbug Manufacturing is seeking a Fabrication Machinery Operator to produce high-precision parts using CNC-based fabrication equipment, such as waterjets, laser cutters, tube lasers, and press brakes. The ideal candidate has experience operating fabrication machinery, reading mechanical drawings, and inspecting finished parts for accuracy.Key Responsibilities:Operate CNC-based fabrication machinery to transform raw materials into high-precision partsPerform machine calibration to ensure equipment produces parts accuratelyOptimize nesting layouts to use materials efficiently and reduce wasteLoad raw materials into fabrication equipment and unload parts following processingRead and interpret mechanical blueprints to understand part dimensions and fabrication requirementsUse calipers and micrometers to inspect finished parts and verify accuracy against specificationsRequired QualificationsCandidate must be a US Citizen At least one (1) year of experience operating fabrication machinery, such as a waterjet, laser cutter, tube laser, or press brakeAbility to read and interpret mechanical blueprintsStrong math skills to work with measurements and dimensions throughout the fabrication processAbility to use calipers and micrometers to perform precision inspectionsAbility to meet the physical demands of operating fabrication machinery and loading and unloading materialsPreferred QualificationsBasic familiarity with CAD/CAM softwareExperience operating forklifts or hoists to move materialsAbout Corvid:Corvid Technologies is a unique organization focused on analyzing, developing and manufacturing next generation technology for Aerospace, DoW, and commercial customers.
