Summary/Objective:
- Organize and prioritize jobs to align with production schedules and deadlines.
- Confirm that all required materials for each job have been received, documented, and staged for use.
- Verify that completed operations meet specifications before moving to the next stage.
- Pair up fabricated components for inspection, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with the inspection team to address any quality concerns before welding.
- Maintain clear communication with welders, machinists, and supervisors to keep workflow smooth.
- Update job operation completion in system and maintain accurate records of progress and materials.
Education and Experience:
- Experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or production coordination role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes, materials, and quality control standards.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills for working across teams and departments.
- Comfort with job tracking software or ERP systems.
Physical Demands:
- This position requires standing, walking, & bending throughout the shift, including lifting and/or moving items at times that may be up to 50 pounds.
