Job Title: Fabric CutterPay Rate: $18.00/ hourLocation: Greensboro, NCSchedule:Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PMFriday: 6:00 AM – 10:30 AMJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Fabric Cutter to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabric or leather cutting, particularly within the furniture industry. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Select appropriate fabric or leather based on the job number or product specifications.Identify and retrieve the correct pattern template for the product being manufactured.Trace patterns accurately onto fabric or leather.Cut out components using scissors or an electric fabric cutter, ensuring clean, accurate cuts.Attach the job ticket to the cut material and transfer it to the sewing department for further processing.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the proper use of tools and equipment.Requirements:Proven experience as a Fabric Cutter or similar role in a textile manufacturing environment. Candidates interested in learning will be trained.Ability to manually cut fabric with precision.Physical strength. Ability to lift to 75 lbs by yourself.Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining quality standards.Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Confident with basic math and problem solving.Proficient in interpreting cutting instructions and patterns.
