Description
- Technical Support Technician
- Location: Allen, TX 75002
- Work Arrangement: Onsite | Shift-Based | 24/7 Operations
- Pay Rate: $22–$24/hour
- Duration: 6–12 Month Contract-to-Hire
Job Summary - 3+ years of experience in Technical Support / IT Support.
- Strong experience providing remote technical support via phone, email, and remote tools.
- Troubleshooting experience with network, system, and communication-related issues.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, and basic networking.
- Experience with incident management, ticketing, escalation, and SLA requirements.
- Knowledge of VoIP or communication systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and customer service skills.
- Experience documenting technical issues, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and knowledge-base articles.
- Ability to monitor system performance, service metrics, and recurring technical issues.
- Comfortable working in a 24/7 shift-based onsite environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Experience collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
- Associate degree or equivalent technical education required.
- Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.
- Preferred experience with RF/Network, mobile communication technologies, and AI-enabled technical tools.
