Extrusion / Turf Technician
Location: Greensboro, NC
Shift: 7-7 (2-2-3 schedule)
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $23-$25

Are you mechanically inclined and looking for a long-term opportunity with room to grow? We're seeking an Extrusion/Turf Technician to join a manufacturing team producing high-quality synthetic turf yarn. This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates with machine operation, mechanical, maintenance, or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion and texturing equipment.
  • Perform machine startups, changeovers, and basic repairs.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and assist with preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and production goals.
  • Complete production documentation accurately.
  • Train and assist machine operators as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing, machine operation, maintenance, or mechanical experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and solve problems.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Able to lift up to 55 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
Work Environment:
  • Manufacturing facility with elevated temperatures and noise (hearing protection required).
  • Hands-on role working around industrial machinery.
