As an Extrusion Machine Operator, you'll handle key production tasks to ensure our products meet strict quality standards. You’ll work closely with your supervisor and team to keep machinery running smoothly, maintain safety, and meet daily production goals.

What You’ll Do
As an extrusion machine operator, you will be responsible for:

• Performing all tooling changeovers to meet product specifications.
• Starting and monitoring machinery, including water chillers, laser mic, and cutter-puller.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Adjusting machine controls to stay within established parameters.
• Replacing worn machine accessories, approved by maintenance.
• Filling the machine hopper with raw material and maintaining water troughs.
• Maintaining cleanliness of machines and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Documenting production data accurately and timely.
• Conducting periodic equipment checks and troubleshooting issues.
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed, including PPE usage.
• Operating pallet jacks and assisting with manual tasks like packing and labeling.
• Partnering with team members to meet daily production targets.

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three years of related manufacturing or production experience.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and basic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity.
• Ability to work at a steady pace, perform repetitive tasks, and adapt quickly to changes.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn new skills.
