Extrusion Operator

Location: Bardstown, KY
Hours : 7PM-7AM on a 2-2-3 schedule

Pay: $18.77 per hour.

Job Summary

The Extrusion Operator runs and monitors production machines that make plastic film and packaging materials. This position checks product quality, makes basic machine adjustments, and keeps production running safely and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery.

• Set up equipment and thread film through the machines.

• Check product quality, measurements, and roll weight.

• Make machine adjustments as needed.

• Package, label, and move finished products.

• Keep production records and report any issues.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.

• Basic math and measurement skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Ideal Candidate

Someone with manufacturing, machine operation, plastic extrusion, or packaging experience who is dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.

Must be able to work in HOT conditions.
