PFL Services is looking to hire Extruder Operators for a position in the Asheboro, NC area.
Payrate: $18/hour
Shifts:
- 1st shift: 7am to 3pm Monday through Friday
- 2nd shift, 3pm-11pm Monday through Friday
- 3rd shift, 11pm to 7am Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Select machine dies
- Determine setup procedures
- Reel extruded products into rolls or reels
- Specify lengths and weights of rolls or reels
- Replace worn dies
- Set controls to regulate vacuum, air pressure, sizing rings and temperature
- Synchronize speed of extrusion
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Locate defects on extruded parts
- Check for conformance to specifications
- Record product measurements
- Adjust controls as necessary, Install, connect, test and adjust equipment
- String up lines
- Clean tools and tooling
- Operate extruders
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of plastic extruder experience
- Must provide resume
