Job duties include:
Crowd Control/Security
Gate Security
Bag Check
Ticket Taking
Pre-Game Facility Setup
Post-Game Facility Clean-Up
Monitor gates, buildings, and elevators for authorized personnel only
Supply information to patrons
Assists patrons as needed
Handle customer complaints
Assist in Emergency medical situations by monitoring crowds & reporting personal safety issues/accidents
Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$15.00 per hour

Work Hours
Event dates are as follows. Each day is broken up into four hour shifts, and employees can choose to work as many or as few shifts as they would like.
November 27th: Approximately 8:30am-10:30pm
November 28th: Approximately 8:30am- 10:30pm

Special Instructions for Applicants
Extra Help employees may only work up to 28 hours per week for all University employment. Employees are only paid for hours worked and do not qualify for most benefits including health insurance and retirement, with Illinois State University. However, Extra Help employees are eligible to participate in the University's supplemental retirement savings plans (403b). Applicable retirement information is provided at the time of hire. There is no guarantee that working as Extra Help will lead to or secure permanent employment. In addition, extra help employees may only work up to 900 hours total during their employment.

Applicable part-time work experience will be considered toward qualifying for this position; however, it will be converted to a full-time equivalency to determine combined length of experience.
