Pay Rate: Up to $38.78 per hour, W 2

Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Summary:

• Assists with development and implementation of legislative and project communication strategies.
• Focus on electrical projects, customer issues, and major emergencies/storm events.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key political, business, economic development, governmental, and media contacts.
• Assist with media issues and inquiries.
• Represent the company as a Brand Ambassador at community, civic, and political events.
• Coordinate and serve as liaison for relationships with state and local elected and appointed officials, local businesses, business groups, military groups, and other customer groups.
• Investigate and advise community leaders and elected officials on constituent questions, problems, or concerns.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience working in government, public policy, economic development, and communications.
• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Public Affairs, or Political Science.
