VizzaLights is a growing exterior lighting company specializing in professionally installed permanent architectural lighting systems for homes and businesses.
Our systems are designed to become an integrated part of a property's exterior, providing elegant architectural lighting for everyday use as well as customizable colors and effects for holidays, celebrations, game days, special events, and more.

The Position
VizzaLights is seeking a dependable, skilled, and detail-oriented
Exterior Lighting Installer to join our installation team.
This is a hands-on field position involving the installation of permanent exterior lighting systems on residential and commercial properties. Installers will work with ladders, roofs, exterior trim, low-voltage lighting components, wiring, controllers, and related equipment.
Because our installations are a highly visible part of a customer's home or business,
quality workmanship and attention to detail are extremely important.
We are not simply looking for someone who can install lights. We are looking for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, respects customers' property, works safely, and wants to be part of building a growing company.
What You'll Do
As an Exterior Lighting Installer, you will:
- Install permanent exterior LED lighting systems on residential and commercial properties
- Work safely from ladders and, when required, on roofs and elevated areas
- Measure and prepare installation areas according to project specifications
- Install lighting tracks and related exterior mounting components
- Route and secure low-voltage wiring neatly and professionally
- Connect lighting components, controllers, power supplies, and related equipment within the scope of your training and applicable requirements
- Test completed lighting systems and troubleshoot installation issues
- Ensure lighting runs are straight, clean, secure, and visually consistent
- Protect roofing, siding, gutters, landscaping, driveways, and other customer property during installation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Photograph and document completed installations as required
- Maintain tools, ladders, equipment, and company vehicles
- Communicate professionally with customers and other members of the VizzaLights team
- Follow company installation procedures and safety standards
- Participate in training as VizzaLights products, systems, and installation methods evolve
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable working outdoors, and takes genuine pride in doing a job correctly.
You should be:
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather
- Comfortable working on ladders and at elevated heights
- Able to use common hand and power tools safely
- Detail-oriented with an eye for clean, precise installations
- Able to follow installation diagrams, measurements, and instructions
- Comfortable learning lighting technology and basic troubleshooting
- Professional and respectful when working at customers' homes and businesses
- Able to work independently as well as part of an installation crew
- Safety-conscious
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Interested in growing with a young, expanding company
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is especially valuable:
- Exterior or architectural lighting
- Low-voltage lighting
- Electrical installation or electrical helper work
- Roofing
- Gutters or soffit/fascia installation
- Solar installation
- Cable or telecommunications installation
- Security system installation
- HVAC
- Construction
- Carpentry
- Home improvement
- Sign installation
- Landscape lighting
Permanent lighting experience is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has strong mechanical ability, a good work ethic, and the willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements
This is an active outdoor installation position. Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
- Working outdoors for extended periods
- Climbing and working from ladders
- Working at elevated heights
- Standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, and climbing throughout the workday
- Using hand and power tools
- Safely lifting and carrying tools, ladders, lighting materials, and installation equipment required for the position
