E.S. 3:00 PM-5:00 PM during program scheduled days.

Position Overview & Primary Purpose:

This position is responsible for delivering daily curriculum to include academic enrichment, recreation,

nutrition, fine arts, technology, sports, college/workforce and community partnerships components in the

Extended Day Programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge of after school or youth programs

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills in working with diverse groups of students and families

Experience in working with you in an education, youth group or camp setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Have met formal academic assessment, associate's degree, or two years of study (48 hours) at an institution

of higher learning*

Working days, working hours, duty assignment, and job locations are subject to change.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Responsible for delivering daily curriculum to include academic enrichment, recreation, nutrition, fine

arts, technology, sports, college/workforce and community partnership components in the after-school

program setting.

Provide help and supervision during daily homework time.

Manage student behavior, provide excellent classroom management and maintain student

confidentiality.

Coordinate with Extended Day administration regarding extended day special programming.
