Indian Creek School enrolls approximately 550 students in grades Pre-K through twelve from diverse ethnic, racial, religious, and economic backgrounds.

    This position is hourly part-time, 10-month position, reporting to the Extended Day manager beginning on the first day of the 2026-2027 school year.

    The position would require afternoon work hours from 2:30 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, for a total of 17.5 hours per week. Additional hours can be obtained for by working Morning Care 7 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. Monday through Friday, Teacher In-Service days and/or Parent Teacher Conferences.

    Requirements

    Extended Day Responsibilities:

    • Supervise students in grades 1-5 in our after school program
    • Plan and carry out daily planned activities
    • Follow health and safety protocol as mandated by ICS
    • Communicate with other extended day faculty and parents when necessary
    • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Extended Day Program
    • Display developed problem solving, communication skills, conflict resolution, and organization skills

    Requirements:

    • Comply with Office of Child Care regulations
    • Child Care certifications required
    • Early Childhood or Education experience required
    • First Aid/CPR preferred but not required
    • Federal and State Background Check clearance
