Extended Care Assistant Before School - Part Time

Holy Apostles Catholic School is seeking part-time Extended Care Assistants in our Before-School program. Looking for passionate and energetic individuals that are excited to work with students from 3K-8th grade. The program is a quiet time for students to enjoy their breakfast, color or read a book prior to the start time of school.

• Position hours would be 6:45am - 8:15am, days school is in session
• Flexible days commitment available; 5, 3 or 2 days per week

The Extended Care Assistant will assist with the supervision of children to insure a safe, caring and welcoming environment to young children and their parents.

• Ensures students are orderly and acting appropriately.
• Contribute to the children's sense of self-worth as a Christian person.
• Maintain open lines of communication with children and their parents.
• Responds to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
• Having completed or willing to complete the Safeguarding All God's Children certification.
