Waxing the City – Carmel Valley/Carmel Mountain is looking for an experienced, motivated, and licensed Wax Specialist (Cerologist) to join our growing team!
We are seeking someone who is passionate about waxing, providing exceptional guest experiences, building strong client relationships, and actively growing their clientele.
Responsibilities:- Perform professional full-body waxing services, including Brazilian waxing.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain high service standards.
- Educate guests on proper aftercare, retail products, memberships, and wax packages.
- Build guest retention through consistent rebooking and personalized service.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and California State Board standards.
- Participate in studio marketing, community outreach, pop-ups, and local events.
- Take initiative during downtime to help build clientele through approved marketing and outreach activities.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve individual and studio goals.
Qualifications:- Active California Esthetician or Cosmetologist license required.
- Previous professional waxing experience strongly preferred.
- Brazilian and full-body waxing experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and goal-oriented.
- Comfortable recommending retail products and memberships.
- Willing to participate in community events and marketing initiatives.
- Weekend availability preferred.
