Heritage Pet Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant who loves learning, takes initiative, and thrives in a busy, collaborative environment. If you're passionate about patient care, enjoy developing your medical skills, and value a supportive team, we'd love to meet you!
You'll work alongside our seven veterinarians and veterinary technicians to support high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include:
Assisting with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and laboratory procedures
Obtaining patient histories and gathering medical information
Monitoring hospitalized and surgical patients
Administering medications and treatments as directed
Safely restraining and comforting patients
Providing client education and support
Supporting treatment, surgery, and hospitalization workflows
Maintaining a clean, organized medical environment
Jumping in wherever needed to support the team

Pay: $18–$27 per hour, based on experience
Sign-on bonus: Up to $750, based on experience
