A family-owned California full-service chemical and fertilizer company is looking to add a highly skilled Technical Agronomist to their team. They are known for their great company culture, low turnover rate and offer competitive salaries, health insurance, a company vehicle, 401K, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with farmers and growers to provide best practices for planting, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting
- Conduct research, analyze data, and recommend technologies and products to increase yield and sustainability
- Help customers optimize productivity while ensuring environmental stewardship
- Stay up to date with precision agriculture tools, data analysis software, and GIS systems
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in technical agronomy
- A bachelor's degree or higher in an agronomic related field (master’s degree preferred)
- Must be PCA licensed and CCA certified
- Comfortable working in both a team environment and independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to travel through multiple California Counties
- Must be fluent or native English speaking or Native English/Spanish bilingual
- A current resident of California and have a valid U.S. driver’s license
