About the Role:Tricounty Neurological Associates is looking for an Experienced Medical Biller to join our dedicated team in Clinton Township, MI. Responsibilities:- Process and submit accurate medical claims to insurance carriers, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
- Review and resolve claim denials, rejections, and appeals in a timely manner
- Post payments, adjustments, and patient transactions to accounts
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to billing
- Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable and aging reports
- Ensure compliance with neurology-specific coding (ICD-10, CPT) and billing regulations
- Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance representatives to resolve billing inquiries
Requirements:- Minimum 2+ years of medical billing experience, preferably in a specialty or neurology practice
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing guidelines
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills for patient and insurance interactions
