    Description

    Experienced Maintenance Technician

    Up to 40.00 per hour depending on skillset

    Use of company provided truck during work hours

    We're looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help keep our properties safe, functional, and well-maintained. HVAC and Plumbing experience is a must! This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and taking pride in high-quality work.     Key Responsibilities

    Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and potential issues before they become larger problems

    Complete general building repairs, including carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and fixture installation

    Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems within the scope of the role

    Perform preventive maintenance to support safe, efficient, and reliable building operations

    Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and basic plans to complete repairs accurately

    Support renovation, construction, and general labor projects as needed across multiple sites

    Operations and Safety

    Maintain tools, materials, and supply inventory to support daily work

    Pick up materials and transport equipment using company vehicles as needed

    Assist with seasonal property maintenance

    Operate small equipment and machinery safely, when applicable

    Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free

    Report hazards, deficiencies, or equipment failures promptly

    Groundskeeping, Seasonal Work, and Team Collaboration

    Support groundskeeping, exterior upkeep, and seasonal maintenance tasks

    Respond promptly to maintenance requests from occupants and management

    Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and building occupants

    Work collaboratively with maintenance staff and other teams to complete projects efficiently

    Qualifications

    Previous experience in maintenance, repair, construction, or a related skilled trade

    Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems

    Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical manuals, schematics, or basic blueprints

    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to changing needs

    Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

    Basic personal hand tools required; specialty tools and equipment may be provided by the company

    Ability to work evenings, weekends, or holidays on rare occasions, typically due to emergencies or weather-related needs

    Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

    Preferred Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Experience working across multiple properties or job sites

    Experience with carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, or light renovation work

    Physical Requirements and Work Environment

    Ability to perform physically active work, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and using hand and power tools

    Ability to lift and move materials and equipment, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional heavier lifting as required

    Comfort working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

    Ability to safely inspect, access, and work on building systems, equipment, and elevated areas as needed

    Visual ability to inspect equipment, identify issues, and complete repairs safely and accurately

The actual hourly/salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location, certifications, and skill development and potential bonuses.
