Ironwood Steakhouse is seeking an experienced and dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and is committed to producing consistently high-quality food.

The ideal candidate will have professional line-cooking experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to remain organized and composed during busy service periods. Previous steakhouse or upscale dining experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

•Prepare and execute menu items according to Ironwood’s recipes, presentation standards and ticket times

•Set up and maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked station

•Cook steaks, proteins, sides and other menu items to the proper temperature and specification

•Communicate effectively with chefs, managers and fellow kitchen team members

•Follow all food-safety, sanitation and proper food-handling procedures

•Assist with prep work, receiving, storage and kitchen cleaning as needed

•Maintain consistency and quality throughout every service

•Work efficiently while supporting the entire culinary team

Qualifications

•Previous professional line-cooking experience required

•Steakhouse or upscale restaurant experience preferred

•Strong knife skills and understanding of professional cooking techniques

•Knowledge of proper meat temperatures and food-safety practices

•Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment

•Dependable, punctual and team-oriented

•Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift kitchen supplies and equipment

•Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled
