The Hungry Tarpon Restaurant of Islamorada is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a passion for cooking and an ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipe and plating specifications
- Ensure that food is cooked in a timely manner and is of high quality
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Line Cook in a professional kitchen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to commute or relocate to Islamorada, Florida
