Full-Time | $19–$24 per hour, based on experience, plus commission and bonuses
Best Lawn Care is a local, family-owned company serving our community since 2002. We are hiring an experienced technician who takes pride in quality work, dependable attendance and excellent customer care.
Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizer, weed control and other lawn-care products safely and accurately
- Complete assigned routes efficiently
- Identify common turf, weed, insect and watering concerns
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Document applications and property conditions
- Maintain a clean, organized truck and equipment
- Follow all product labels, safety procedures and company standards
What to Expect
- Start time is generally around 6:30 a.m.
- Our normal schedule is four longer workdays, but it is weather-dependent
- A Friday w/ some Saturdays and overtime may be required during busy seasons or after weather delays
- Outdoor work in heat, cold, wind and light rain
- Extended walking and regularly lifting or carrying equipment and products
- Most work is completed independently
Qualifications
- Previous lawn fertilization, weed control, pesticide application, landscaping, irrigation, agriculture or outdoor route-service experience
- Missouri Category 3 license preferred, or willingness to obtain it
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Cell Phone
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Strong attention to detail and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and accept coaching
