Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support in immigration law cases, assisting attorney and managing paralegal with case preparation, document management, and client communication in both English and Spanish. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help ensure smooth case workflows and excellent client service. Duties

  • Assist attorney with immigration law cases, including preparing petitions, applications, and supporting documentation
  • \n
  • Conduct legal research using research tools to support case strategies
  • \n
  • Manage case files and documents using Dropbox, Docketwise and other document management systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • \n
  • Interview clients in both English and Spanish to gather necessary information for case development
  • \n
  • Review legal documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • \n
  • Draft legal correspondence, affidavits, and other documents with precision and clarity
  • \n
  • Support project management efforts by organizing deadlines, tracking case progress, and coordinating with clients
  • \n
  • Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00 pm In Person, Hybrid (in person at least 3 days per week). This is a salaried position. $45,000 to $60,000 per year. Benefits: 401K, PTO, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

  • Proven paralegal experience in immigration law- at least 2 years
  • \n
  • Undergraduate degree
  • \n
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required; excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of legal research tools
  • \n
  • Familiarity with legal administrative experience including document review, data entry, filing, and record management
  • \n
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • \n
  • Excellent organizational skills combined with effective phone etiquette.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, contracts review, and document management system platforms
  • \n
