Experienced ICU APP (PA/APRN | PRN Critical Care | AdventHealth Daytona Beach & Palm Coast

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking an experienced PRN Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collaborative ICU team supporting AdventHealth Daytona Beach and AdventHealth Palm Coast.

This opportunity is designed for local, experienced ICU providers who are looking for flexible supplemental work while practicing alongside an established team of intensivist physicians and advanced practice providers. PRN providers will help support staffing needs across both campuses while delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients in a collaborative critical care environment.

Our critical care program includes:

• 10 Intensivist Physicians
• 12 Advanced Practice Providers

Coverage includes:

• 14-bed Cardiovascular ICU - AdventHealth Daytona Beach
• 32-bed Medical/Surgical ICU - AdventHealth Daytona Beach
• 18-bed Closed Medical/Surgical ICU - AdventHealth Palm Coast

PRN Opportunity

• Flexible PRN scheduling based on department needs
• Day and/or night shifts available
• Practice at both AdventHealth Daytona Beach and AdventHealth Palm Coast
• Opportunity to work with an experienced, collaborative ICU team
• Ideal for providers who enjoy high-acuity medicine while maintaining scheduling flexibility

Providers work in a collaborative environment with attending intensivists caring for patients requiring advanced monitoring, critical care management, and bedside procedures. This is an excellent fit for experienced ICU APPs who value teamwork, clinical complexity, and the opportunity to support a growing critical care service line across two campuses.

Neither hospital is a designated trauma center.

Qualifications

We are seeking experienced providers who thrive in a collaborative ICU environment.

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Minimum of two years of recent ICU experience as an Advanced Practice Provider preferred
• One year minimum ICU APP experience required
• Strong critical care assessment and procedural skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Active Florida license, or ability to obtain

Please note: This PRN opportunity is intended for local providers who already have critical care experience. New graduates and candidates without prior ICU APP experience will not be considered.
