    Experienced Hospice Supply Coordinator

    Location: Tucson, AZSchedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PMEmployment Type: Full-Time | In-Office Position

    Experienced Medical Supply Professional Needed

    Dependable Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking an experienced, highly organized Hospice Supply Coordinator to join our Tucson team.

    Previous medical supply ordering experience is required for this position. We are looking for someone who understands medical supplies, can confidently manage inventory and patient orders, and knows the importance of accuracy and timely delivery in a healthcare environment.

    This role is essential to ensuring our hospice patients and clinical teams have the appropriate medical, wound care, and patient-care supplies when they need them.

    What You'll Do

    As our Hospice Supply Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the ordering, tracking, inventory, and distribution of medical supplies for our hospice patients and clinical teams.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Order medical, hospice, and wound care supplies for patients

    • Coordinate patient home supply orders based on clinical needs

    • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of commonly used medical and wound care supplies

    • Receive, organize, store, and distribute incoming supplies

    • Monitor inventory and proactively reorder supplies to prevent shortages

    • Track patient supply orders and inventory using Microsoft Excel and company systems

    • Communicate directly with medical supply and DME vendors regarding orders, deliveries, backorders, and product availability

    • Follow up on outstanding or delayed orders to prevent disruptions in patient care

    • Respond promptly to supply requests from nurses and other clinical team members

    • Assist clinicians with identifying appropriate or available supply products when needed

    • Maintain familiarity with commonly used hospice, wound care, incontinence, and other patient-care supplies

    • Review orders for accuracy and help control unnecessary or duplicate supply costs

    • Scan and upload signed physician orders into WellSky/Kinnser

    • Maintain accurate supply records and documentation

    • Keep supply and inventory areas clean, organized, and appropriately stocked

    • Work closely with clinical staff, billing, vendors, and office personnel

    • Assist with other medical supply and operational responsibilities as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required

    • Previous medical supply ordering experience required

    • Experience working with medical supply vendors and coordinating patient supply orders

    • Knowledge of commonly used medical, hospice, and/or wound care supplies

    • Experience managing medical supply inventory

    • Strong computer and data-entry skills

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

    • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

    • Ability to manage multiple patient orders and priorities simultaneously

    • Strong communication and customer service skills

    • Ability to work independently and resolve supply or delivery issues

    • Understanding of HIPAA and the importance of protecting patient information

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous hospice, home health, DME, or healthcare supply coordination experience

    • Experience ordering wound care and hospice-related supplies

    • WellSky/Kinnser experience

    • Familiarity with medical terminology and commonly used clinical products
