Your day-to-day work may include:Performing scheduled generator maintenance and inspectionsTroubleshooting electrical and mechanical issuesDiagnosing system failures and determining appropriate repairsReplacing components and completing corrective repairsUsing wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer informationRecording service findings, repairs, and parts accuratelyExplaining findings and recommended repairs to customersMaintaining a professional, safe, and organized work areaYour level of independence and responsibility will depend on your experience and technical knowledge.Who We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and eager to solve problems. You'll be a strong fit if you:Have 2–3+ years of generator, electrical, or related field experienceHave 3+ years of generator service and repair experience for senior-level opportunitiesCan read or are comfortable learning to read wiring diagrams and technical documentationHave electrical training or technical school experienceHave Generac or Kohler certification - preferred, but not requiredOwn basic hand toolsHold a valid driver's license with an insurable driving recordAre comfortable working indoors and outdoors, including attics, ladders, kneeling, crouching, and other physically demanding environmentsWhy Join Empowered Global?We believe technicians do their best work when they have the tools, training, and support to succeed.
