About the Firm
The Law Offices of Jennifer J. Riley is a family law firm serving clients across Montgomery, Chester, and surrounding counties. We handle complex, high-stakes matters and are known for the discretion and care we bring to them. We are growing, and we are looking for an experienced Family Law Paralegal ready to step into that environment.
The Role
This is a full-time, in-office position based in either our Wayne or Blue Bell office. You will work directly with attorneys on family law matters in Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, Bucks, and Philadelphia Counties as a core member of the case team — managing workflow, anticipating needs, and moving cases forward without close supervision.
The role suits someone confident, organized, and at home in a demanding practice.
Core Responsibilities
- Draft, prepare, and file pleadings in Montgomery and Chester County courts
- Manage case files from intake through resolution
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and timely communication
- Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and third parties
- Track discovery deadlines and manage document collection and production
- Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and hearing materials
- Arrange and monitor service of process
- Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and scheduling logistics
- Oversee outgoing correspondence and file management systems
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of family law paralegal experience in Montgomery or Chester County, Pennsylvania
- Direct experience with pleadings, filings, and court procedures in local jurisdictions
- A track record in a fast-paced law firm
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to carry multiple active matters without losing accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Sound independent judgment and consistently high ethical standards
- The instinct to anticipate attorney needs rather than wait for direction
- Composure under pressure and a sense of ownership over deadlines and outcomes
- Genuine awareness of the sensitive nature of family law work and the discretion it requires
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is competitive and aligned with experience. Benefits include:
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Disability and life insurance
- 401(k) with employer match
