Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor for a busy, high-performing independent European automotive repair facility in Santa Clara, CA. This opportunity offers $100,000-$150,000+ earning potential through a base pay plus commission structure. The ideal candidate brings strong automotive sales experience, excellent customer communication, and a proven ability to build trust while presenting repair recommendations. Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver an exceptional service experience from initial contact through vehicle pickup.
• Build long-term customer relationships through clear, professional communication and follow-up.
• Prepare estimates and present repair recommendations identified through vehicle inspections.
• Communicate vehicle needs, repair recommendations, and service updates clearly with customers and technicians.
• Order parts and help coordinate repair workflow.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation.
• Follow up on inspections and recommended services.
• Work toward established KPIs and sales goals while supporting smooth daily shop operations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Automotive Service Advisor experience.
• Independent automotive repair shop experience required.
• Proven record of automotive sales performance and customer satisfaction.
• Strong experience presenting and selling repair recommendations from vehicle inspections.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship-building skills.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Goal-oriented, dependable, and able to work collaboratively with the shop team.
