  • Measure, cut, position, and secure drywall panels on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
  • Fit drywall neatly around doorways, windows, electrical boxes, corners, and architectural features.
  • Tape seams and joints, apply joint compound, and complete successive finishing coats.
  • Sand and smooth surfaces to achieve consistent, professional, paint-ready finishes.
  • Repair damaged drywall, including holes, cracks, water-damaged sections, and larger replacement areas.
  • Apply and replicate common wall and ceiling textures, ensuring repairs blend naturally with surrounding surfaces.
  • Inspect framing and existing surfaces to identify problems that could compromise installation or finishing quality.
  • Prepare work areas and protect flooring, furnishings, fixtures, and adjacent surfaces.
  • Keep job sites organized, clean, and safe throughout the project.
  • Work alongside carpenters, painters, project supervisors, and other construction professionals.
  • Monitor materials and communicate supply requirements or potential delays.
  • Complete assigned work to established quality standards and project schedules.

Qualifications & Experience

  • We're interested in experienced drywall professionals who can deliver high-quality results and work confidently in residential environments.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven professional experience installing and finishing drywall.
  • Strong hands-on skills in hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, finishing, and texturing.

  • $30-$40 per hour, depending on your qualifications, experience, and technical ability.
  • Full-time employment with ongoing residential construction and improvement work.
  • A varied workload covering remodeling, renovations, repairs, and smaller improvement projects.
  • Opportunities to work directly with experienced construction professionals and company leadership.
  • A growing company where skilled team members are recognized for their contributions.
  • Potential to take on additional responsibilities as the business expands.
  • The opportunity to share your knowledge and help less-experienced team members develop their trade skills.
  • A company culture focused on craftsmanship, teamwork, and making a positive impact.

We Want Someone Who Cares About the Finished Result

Great drywall work shouldn't draw attention to itself. When the paint is applied, the joints should be invisible, the corners should be crisp, the textures should match, and the surfaces should look as though they've always been that way.

That's the standard we're looking for.

We value experienced people who work carefully, keep projects moving, respect customers' properties, and take personal responsibility for the quality of their work.

If you're a dependable Drywall Installer and Finisher who can confidently handle everything from initial installation through the final finish, we'd welcome your application.
