Twin Towing is seeking a seasoned Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team, focusing on maintaining our diverse fleet, including light and heavy-duty tow trucks, tractors, trailers, and various other types of heavy equipment. This is a full-time opportunity for a hands-on professional who takes pride in their workmanship and possesses a keen eye for detail. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) work and keep accurate records of routine maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Conduct diagnostics, identify malfunctions, and undertake necessary repairs with precision.
  • Efficiently replace and repair truck and trailer lighting systems and wiring, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Welding and fabrication tasks as needed to repair or modify equipment.
  • Utilize understanding of computer diagnostics to interpret and address error codes and system alerts.
  • Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to efficiently complete tasks.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a comprehensive understanding of both light and heavy-duty vehicles and heavy equipment.
  • Must possess personal set of tools suitable for a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Proficiency in welding and fabrication, with a knack for precision and safety.
  • Strong competency in using diagnostic software and interpreting computer-generated error codes.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and lift objects as required by the job.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication abilities, capable of working as part of a team and independently.
