Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care with compassion. You will assist the dentist, support the hygiene department and the administrative department, and comply with all sterilization and infection control protocol. Minimum skills include: dedication, efficiency, attention to detail, clear communication, organization, and a genuine willingness to learn and grow. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years experience as a Dental Assistant and is trained in Expanded Functions. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to a great patient experience, we want to hear from you! 

Responsibilities 
  • Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
  • Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
  • Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
  • Set up, break down, and sterilize operatories and instruments 
  • Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
  • Make impressions (digital and analog), make temporary crowns, provide pre- and post-operative instructions, take radiographs
  • Schedule appointments, explain treatment plans
  • Track lab cases and manage inventory
  • Support clinical and administrative team members
  • Assist with managing inventory
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
  • Minimum of 2 years chairside experience
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Efficient and organized
  • Ability to provide high-quality patient care
