Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial/Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and compliance with national codes and standards. Candidates with NFPA and OSHA safety training and relevant certifications are strongly preferred.


Responsibilities: 
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in industrial environments.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation of electrical systems.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, and OSHA regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with motors, control panels, transformers, VFDs, PLCs, and other industrial equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required documentation.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to support production needs.
  • Participate in safety meetings, audits, and training.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Technical or trade school preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of industrial electrical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and OSHA safety requirements.
  • I and E Controls Experience
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Experience with 480V, 277V, and low-voltage systems.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, testing equipment, and electrical diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Training & Certifications
  • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Safety Training (Certification)
  • NFPA 70E – Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace (Certification)
  • Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) – NFPA
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician License (State-specific)
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Training
  • First Aid/CPR Certification
  • PLC Programming/Controls Training
