What You'll Do
As a Skilled Carpenter, you will be responsible for:
Performing advanced framing, structural layout, and installing siding with accuracy
Executing finish carpentry and detailed trim work to the highest standards
Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Setting doors and windows precisely and efficiently
Supervising and mentoring less experienced crew members to maintain quality standards
Ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and building codes
You will work closely with project managers and team members to meet deadlines while producing top-tier craftsmanship.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on carpentry experience
Expertise in framing, finish carpentry, and structural work
Ability to independently read and execute plans from blueprints and technical drawings
Valid drivers license with a good driving record over the past 3 years
Willingness to travel within a 40-mile radius of Eugene
Strong work ethic, reliability, and meticulous attention to detail
