Haddad GMC is seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Adams, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure exceptional performance and safety. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong knowledge of automotive systems and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other automotive systems
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups
- Use specialized tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues accurately
- Communicate findings and repair strategies clearly with service advisors and customers
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations
- Stay current with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, ideally in a dealership environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with hand and power tools proficiently
- ASE certification preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
