Job description:


Kwik Kar on University has an immediate opening for an experienced assistant manager. Must have a TX state inspector license. Prior lube shop experience is mandatory. Role as the de facto service advisor for the shop.


Job responsibilities include the following:

• Opening and closing store
• Estimating and quoting mechanical services
• Inspecting belts, hoses, and wiper blades
• Inspecting fluid levels of power steering reservoir and transmission
• Checking air pressure of tires
• Tire Rotations
• Performing multi-point inspection
• Performing state inspections
• Operating and driving vehicles including those with manual transmissions
• Prepare detailed estimates using estimating software, including auto estimating and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools
• Explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines clearly to customers, ensuring transparency and trust
• Upsell services such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, A/C services, and other automotive repairs
