Leasing Consultant (Tax Credit / LIHTC)

Location: Dade City, FL 33525

Pay Rate: $19/hour

Schedule: M-F 9-6 w 1-hr unpaid lunch

Start Date: ASAP

Opportunity Type: Contract-to-Hire

BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant for an affordable housing community. The ideal candidate will have experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC), Low-Income Housing programs and be passionate about providing exceptional customer service while helping prospective residents find their next home.

Responsibilities:

• Greet prospective residents and conduct property tours
• Process rental applications and complete leasing paperwork
• Assist with recertifications and resident file management in compliance with LIHTC and affordable housing regulations
• Maintain occupancy goals through effective leasing and resident retention efforts
• Utilize software for resident records, reporting, and lease management
• Respond to resident inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and resident communications
• Ensure resident files and property records are accurate and up to date
• Support the management team with daily administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• Previous Leasing Consultant experience required
• Experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties required
• Experience with Low-Income Housing programs required
• Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance and leasing procedures
• Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
