About the Role:Join Sunshine Coast Engineering & Development as an Experienced Pipe Layer for Water and Sewer Main projects in Miami, FL!
Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair water and sewer pipelines according to specifications.
- Excavate trenches and ensure proper pipe alignment and depth.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections of pipelines and report any issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices on job sites.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior pipe layers and laborers.
Requirements:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pipe laying for water and sewer systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of pipe materials, installation techniques, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Certification in safety training (OSHA preferred).
