Expense Control and Continuous Improvement Manager

Purpose: The Expense Control and Continuous Improvement Manager improves operational performance by leading data driven continuous improvement initiatives.  This role cross functions with operations leaders to improve processes, build problem solving capability, and improve quality and productivity.

Areas of Accountability:

• Drive plant teams to meet annual budget goals and operational targets.
• Identify, analyze, and implement cost savings improvement ideas across plant operations.
• Build and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and work with the departments to ensure understanding and communication of goals and achievement of the goals.
• Drives the effort toward process improvement using a variety of tools and operational methodologies such as 5S and Lean Manufacturing
• Working with corporate and other plant Expense Control Managers to establish best practices

Working Conditions:

• Travel up to 20% per year
• Must be able to work in areas of extreme heat and cold conditions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other related field
• 5+ years of directly related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Above average Microsoft Officeskills including Excel, and Powerpoint
• Familiarity and experience with multiple computer systems
