We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
- Provide exceptional direct patient care.
- Place restorations in accordance with Indiana EFDA regulations.
- Perform CEREC design and assist with digital dentistry procedures.
- Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and operatories.
- Maintain proper infection control and OSHA standards.
- Manage clinical inventory and treatment room supplies.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient treatment.
- Maintain efficient workflow while supporting the clinical team.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- Current Indiana X-ray Certification (Required)
- EFDA certification preferred or required per Indiana regulations.
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
- Experience with CEREC technology is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- No weekends
- Fridays end at 3:00 PM
