Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and caring Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our team! As an EFDA, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our patients feel appreciated. You will assist the dentist during clinical procedures and administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate will possess an expanded functions dental certification and at least two years of clinical experience. Responsibilities 

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
• Take primary impressions
• Pour up models
• Fabricating temporary crowns and bridges
• Prep sterilized equipment for dental procedures
• Assist dentist during clinical procedures 
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
• Schedule appointments

Qualifications

• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification
• Previous clinical dental assisting experience 
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care
