About Us:

Are you an Experienced FunctionDental Assistant seeking a dynamic role with expanded clinical and administrative responsibilities in a patient-centered practice in Lebanon, Oregon? Do you thrive in creating a comprehensive, efficient dental care environment?

We make going to the dentist fun and relaxing — the way it should be. As we grow under Dr. Kirkpatrick's leadership, we are seeking a highly skilled EFDA with advanced capabilities to support our comprehensive dental care services and enhance our team's operational excellence!

 

What we’ll offer you: 

  • Compensation: 30 and up /hour based on experience
  • 401(k) plan with a match 

 

Schedule:Monday  - Thursday: 7:30am-3:30pm with a 60 minute lunch

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
  • Provide comprehensive chairside assistance to the dentist, supporting all clinical procedures and patient care protocols.
  • Stay current with dental technologies, emerging clinical techniques, and best practices to continuously enhance back-office operational efficiency.
  • Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
  • Develop a relationship with the patient.
  • Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
  • Perform advanced radiographic procedures, including digital imaging, exposure, and precise interpretation for diagnostic purposes.
  • Actively support team performance goals, contributing to practice efficiency, patient satisfaction, and clinical excellence.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) or with demonstrable advanced clinical skills
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Advanced state certifications including: Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), Radiology Certification, Advanced Chairside Procedures Certification, CPR, and current professional license

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Advanced proficiency with comprehensive dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and demonstrated ability to manage complex digital patient records and billing systems
