    Responsibilities & Requirements

    The Exercise Physiologist II assesses, develops, and implements individualized exercise programs for patients with chronic conditions or those undergoing rehabilitation, supporting improved patient outcomes and safety. This role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, educates patients and families, and ensures compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Performs other duties as assigned. This role acts as a mentor within the department and performs other duties as assigned, which may include assisting in additional department initiatives and activities. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health''s mission, vision, values, and B Safe program. Bachelor''s degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field. Minimum of two years of relevant experience in an outpatient or clinical setting performing exercise assessments and interventions. None required by state law. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained or completed during department orientation)

    Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field. Experience working with chronic disease or other specialized populations or in cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation settings.
