Job Title: Executive Site Director (Florida PACE Centers)
Job Summary
Responsible for the overall direction, performance and growth of the Florida PACE (Program for All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) Centers (FPC), Inc. at the designated location/site and the management of all operations including clinical, financial, personnel and supportive areas. The role involves participation and contribution in short, intermediate, and long-range planning for the development of the program in conjunction with other site directors and Vice President. Serves as the liaison to support quality and compliance efforts of FPC Quality and Compliance team as per CMS PACE regulations. Position reports to the Chief Operating Officer of Florida Pace Centers, Inc. and assumes full administrative responsibility and financial accountability for the designated FPC location/site.
Essential Job Functions
- Serves as the chief management authority for the location/site.
- Provides supervision and direction to the non-physician professional and administrative staff working at the location/site.
- Assists in the development and implementation of Standard Operation Procedures that adhere to regulatory and quality requirements.
- Participates in Business Development and Advocacy efforts for growth of the program.
- Supports the COO of FPC in presenting the PACE program and MJH to the local community.
- Works closely with Corporate Directors to standardized processes.
- Participates in conferences, serves on committees, and interacts with community to share expertise as needed.
- Develops and monitors the budget for the location/site.
- Responsible for maintaining quality of care standards, cost effectiveness and monitoring utilization of resources and services as per location's/site's fiscal year budget.
- Facilitates and moderates the site's interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Responsible for overall program quality and effectiveness including identifying the need for new services and innovative ways to provide care, improving efficiency/effectiveness and responding to participant and community needs.
- Assists in developing and updating operating policy and procedures for FPC.
- Works with Human Resources to manage and resolve employee relations issues.
- Coaches and develops staff to promote a culture of growth and progress.
- Serves as members of the PACE management team
- Leads special projects as assigned by Chief Operating Officer.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, Health Care Administration, Social Work, or related.
- Experience in lieu of Education would be considered
Experience:
- Five (5) or more years of administrative experience demonstrating growth in scope and responsibilities.
- Minimum one (1) year experience with the care and support of the frail elderly population.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Must have a valid Florida driver's license and auto insurance.
Abilities Required
- Ability to effectively manage an interdisciplinary team.
- Familiar with managed care principles and practices.
- Knowledge of field of gerontology.
- Excellent communications skills (verbal, written and ability to effectively communicate across the Company).
- Problem-solving/decision making skills, critical and analytical thinking including strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
- Ability to perform duties and responsibilities promptly and consistently with little direct supervision.
