Job Title: Executive Search Recruiter / Executive Sourcer – Healthcare Leadership

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Employment Type: Contract | Open-Ended

Compensation: $40.00–$68.00 per hour

Position Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Executive Search Recruiter / Executive Sourcer to support executive-level healthcare searches nationwide. This is a sourcing-intensive role focused on identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of senior healthcare leaders for critical leadership positions.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience sourcing C-suite and executive-level talent within healthcare organizations, hospital systems, physician groups, or healthcare services organizations. This individual thrives in a research-driven environment and is highly skilled at identifying passive candidates through advanced sourcing techniques, market mapping, and executive search strategies.

This position is ideal for a recruiting professional who enjoys uncovering hard-to-find talent and building relationships with high-level healthcare executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing efforts for executive and senior leadership searches within healthcare organizations.

  • Identify, engage, and recruit executive-level healthcare leaders, including:

    • Chief Nursing Officers (CNOs)

    • Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs)

    • Human Resources Directors

    • Vice Presidents of Human Resources

    • Nursing Directors

    • Executive Nursing Leaders

    • Other C-suite and senior healthcare executives

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for specialized executive searches.

  • Conduct company mapping, talent mapping, and competitive market research to identify prospective candidates.

  • Utilize advanced sourcing methodologies, including Boolean search techniques, networking, referrals, industry associations, market intelligence, and internet research.

  • Build and maintain executive talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

  • Partner with hiring leaders to understand organizational goals, leadership competencies, and position requirements.

  • Screen, assess, and interview candidates to evaluate qualifications, leadership capabilities, and organizational fit.

  • Present qualified candidates and market insights to hiring stakeholders.

  • Manage multiple executive searches simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and responsiveness.

  • Provide market intelligence, talent availability data, compensation insights, and competitive landscape information.

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and activity tracking within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Minimum of 4 years of executive search, executive recruiting, or executive sourcing experience.

  • Proven experience sourcing and recruiting C-suite and senior leadership talent.

  • Healthcare recruiting experience is required.

  • Experience recruiting within hospital systems, healthcare organizations, physician groups, or healthcare services organizations.

  • Experience sourcing Human Resources leadership positions, including CHROs, HR Directors, and HR executives.

  • Experience sourcing Nursing leadership positions, including CNOs, Nursing Directors, and executive nursing leaders.

  • Experience managing multiple executive searches simultaneously.

  • Strong experience developing executive search strategies, talent mapping, and passive candidate generation.

  • Advanced sourcing and research skills utilizing multiple channels beyond LinkedIn and ATS databases.

  • Experience using Boolean search techniques and other advanced sourcing methodologies.

  • Strong candidate engagement, relationship-building, and executive communication skills.

  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full-cycle recruiting experience, including intake meetings, candidate screening, interviewing, candidate presentation, and offer coordination.

  • Experience utilizing Oracle or similar Applicant Tracking Systems.

  • Experience supporting executive searches across Human Resources, Nursing Leadership, and other healthcare executive functions.

  • Knowledge of healthcare leadership structures, executive talent markets, and industry trends.
