Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Executive Pastry Chef to lead our pastry and dessert operations with passion and precision. Duties Lead the planning, development, and execution of all pastry menus, ensuring alignment with brand standards and customer preferences Oversee daily bakery operations, including food preparation, cake decorating, baked goods production, and packaging processes Manage high-volume production schedules while maintaining quality control and consistency across all pastry items Supervise and train kitchen staff on pastry preparation techniques, knife skills, food handling procedures, and operating kitchen equipment Ensure strict compliance with food safety management protocols and sanitation standards to maintain a clean workspace at all times Collaborate with catering teams to create custom desserts for special events and large-scale functions Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages while minimizing waste Maintain detailed records of recipes, portion sizes, and production processes to ensure recipe adherence and quality standards Foster a positive team environment by providing mentorship, feedback, and ongoing training in culinary skills such as cake decorating and food industry best practices Experience Proven culinary experience with a focus on pastry arts in high-volume settings such as restaurants or catering operations Extensive pastry preparation background including baked goods, cakes, confections, and dessert plating techniques Demonstrated expertise in food production, food handling safety protocols, and kitchen equipment operation Strong knowledge of food safety management systems and regulatory compliance within the food industry Experience in packaging baked goods for retail or wholesale distribution is preferred Skilled in recipe development, ingredient measurement using basic math skills, and maintaining consistency across large batches Previous leadership experience managing a culinary team with responsibilities for training and performance oversight Excellent customer service skills with an ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests alike Join us to craft exquisite desserts that delight our guests!
