Location: Baltimore Inner Harbor, MarylandWork Arrangement: Hybrid; minimum of two days each week in the Baltimore Inner Harbor officeEmployment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt; potential to Full-TimeSchedule: Approximately 20 to 30 hours per weekCompensation: $28.00-$32.00 per hourReports To: Founder and CEOPosition SummarySCB Management Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly organized, capable, and dependable part-time Executive Marketing and Operations Assistant to support our Founder and CEO and help coordinate selected marketing and business operations activities. We are looking for a professional who enjoys working independently, takes initiative, and follows through. The ideal candidate is a team player, self-starter, creative problem-solver, and strong communicator who can manage competing priorities without requiring close supervision.This role offers meaningful responsibility and autonomy within a growing management consulting firm. Priorities will be established with the CEO so the position remains focused and manageable within the part-time schedule. While we have documented standard operating procedures (SOPs), we work in an emerging process and technology environment. If you do not, we understand--this is definitely not the place for you.About SCBSCB Management Solutions, Inc. is a management consulting and project management firm that helps public-sector and mission-driven organizations improve performance by aligning people, processes, and technology.Primary ResponsibilitiesExecutive SupportCoordinate the CEO's calendar, meetings, appointments, and reminders.Prepare and organize meeting materials, correspondence, presentations, and other documents.Track selected commitments and action items and provide timely follow-up.Coordinate occasional travel, events, and meeting logistics while handling confidential information with discretion.Marketing and Social MediaMaintain SCB's marketing and social-media calendar.Draft and schedule approved LinkedIn and other social-media content.Keep company biographies, project summaries, capability materials, and website content current.Coordinate content recognizing company achievements and suggest creative ways to strengthen SCB's visibility and engagement.Business OperationsMaintain selected company files, templates, contact information, and trackers.Help coordinate internal meetings, assignments, and due dates.Support limited onboarding, events, and business-development activities and recommend practical process improvements.Coordinate with SCB team members and external service providers when needed.Essential QualitiesA team player who communicates openly and supports shared success.A self-starter who recognizes what needs attention and takes appropriate action.Comfortable with autonomy and able to work independently.Tenacious about follow-up and completing commitments.Innovative, highly organized, dependable, adaptable, and attentive to detail.Professional and discreet, with the judgment to know when questions or approval are required.Required QualificationsAt least three years of relevant experience in executive support, administration, operations, marketing coordination, or a related position.Strong written, verbal, organizational, and proofreading skills.Experience coordinating calendars, meetings, documents, deadlines, and follow-up and preparing professional marketing or social-media content.Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint or OneDrive.Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently.Ability to work from SCB's Baltimore Inner Harbor office at least two days each week.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting a founder, CEO, small business, or professional-services firm.Familiarity with LinkedIn, Canva, Adobe Acrobat, Wrike, Trello, iSolved, Quickbooks, Bill.com or similar business tools.Experience supporting proposals, business development, professional events, or company communications; relevant college education is a plus.Work ArrangementThis is a hybrid position requiring the employee to work from SCB's Baltimore Inner Harbor office at least two days each week. The specific in-office schedule will be coordinated with the Founder and CEO based on business needs. Additional in-person attendance may occasionally be required for meetings, company events, or time-sensitive priorities.CompensationThe compensation range is $28.00-$32.00 per hour.
