    How you'll contribute

    An Executive Director who excels in this role:

    • Communicate and demonstrate a professional image/attitude for patients, families, clients, coworkers and others
    • Ensure for market program staffing, team supervision, and development. Team may include roles of Medical Director, Nurse Manager, Therapist, Social Worker, Community Relations Coordinator, Admissions Coordinator and others as defined by contract terms.
    • Promote adherence to policies and practices of applicable professional organizations, client hospital and Kindred Healthcare.
    • Supervise the development of improved efficiency and productivity of multiple facility/unit clinical/administrative functions.
    • Communicate and demonstrate a professional image/attitude for patients, families, clients, coworkers and others.
    • Participate in continuing education/professional development activities.
    • Develop facility/unit operating and capital budget with client institution for market.
    • Develops and ensures implementation of a program of professional and community relations in collaboration with client hospital Marketing Department for market.
    • Monitor referral/admission process across market.
    • Develop and implement program public relations plan within market.
    • Maintain positive working relationship with client organization.
    • Ensures each assigned facility/unit within market has a comprehensive quality management program.

    What we're looking for

    • Clinical experience is required
    • At a minimum, should be a graduate of a four-year college program with a bachelor's degree in a Physical Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology
    • A track record of successful management experience in a health or human services setting and/or an extensive rehabilitation background combined with strong interpersonal and organizational skill is necessary
    • Multi-site supervision experience is desirable.
    • Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation required
