The Executive Director leads the New College Foundation, Inc., which provides financial support for New College of Florida, the Honors College of the State of Florida. New College students receive a rigorous liberal arts education in an environment emphasizing free speech, respectful civil discourse and the development of critical thinking skills.
The Executive Director is the leader of a fundraising and advancement program that includes the development of donors aligned with New College's mission, cultivation of major and planned gifts, appeals to corporate and foundation philanthropy, and fundraising efforts directed at alumni, friends, parents, and the local community. The Foundation provides student scholarships, grants, programs, and support for the College's NAIA athletics program, and other institutional support for New College.
The Executive Director reports to the Vice President of Advancement (or the CFO and Chief of Staff at New College). The Executive Director provides support for the Chair of the Board and the Board of Directors of the Foundation.
